I welcome requests for features that are unique and out of the ordinary. Designing can be a collaborative effort, exchanging ideas verbally, even scratching out simple drawings initially. Often I am called upon to create some necessary feature for the landscape and from there… the list grows! Imagine two large standing stones marking the gateway into a garden.  Or a small water feature with a dramatic waterfall establishes a visual and audible presence of our most essential element. One of my favorites is a recently completed grotto with a small wall fountain and water dripping on the ferns and stones below. There are stone bridges or fire rings for gathering around to celebrate the turning of the seasons and our universe.
